Does Islam Actually teaches that Women are "Naqis-ul-Aqal".

Re: Dose Islam Actually teaches that Women are “Naqis-ul-Aqal”.

Yeah, they truly have faulty intellect, that is the same reason that Muhammad :saw: decided to work for one. I wonder how she was so successful in running her business? Obviously he wanted to correct her “faulty intellect” and decided to marry her. Dont you guys agree?

Bhai all these confusions arise because the way people 1400 hundred years used these words were not with a negative connotation as we think today. The emphasis of talk back then was way different than it is now. The way people communicated and meant things back then is way different than it is today. There are several ways to say Shutup, some don't hurt but some do.

I remember reading somewhere that there are more women in hell than men. If thats true, then I guess women being naqis ul aqal, naqis ul amal and naqis ul ibaadat is not too far eh? :clown: But, I hope its not true :stuck_out_tongue:

The real measure is Taqwa and not Aqal.

Women are not Naqis-u-Aqal. Why dont we forget the fact that the first human being to believe in the revelation of Holy Prophet (SAW) was a women Hazart Khadija-tul-Kubra (RA). Moreover, if that were the case, then how come the Ahadith quoted by Hazart Fatima-tuz-Zuhra (SA) and Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa (RA) find prominent place in the Islamic Fiqah?
