not sure , never heard that before.. but i have heard it helps in getting rid of constipation (1Tbs in warm milk).

It helps with digestion and probably takes care of the blotiness which will eventually help with the weightloss.

It is for constipation and usually is used in milk but i am not sure about weight loss. I think it's not for wt loss.

Yes, it relieves constipation, thus making you less bloated, so you lose "water weight". But it does nothing towards your actual metabolism/burning calories. For permanent weight loss and far burns it's simple...eat less, exercise more
