So I will be able to upload Gif images/animations? The reason I am asking this because I have uploaded images on my personal server, not the GS one, which btw IMO, stinks!

I am 100% positive about images that you upload to GS servers. About images loaded on your own server, why don't you tyr it and let us know as well? It's not hard nor there is anything to lose. :)

There's no way for me to figure out if the image tag work or not since in Journals, it doesn't have "Preview Post" tab as it does in forums.

Even, if I try, I don't want my Journal to be left out with one blank page.
