I often hear people say that how God talks to them & they are doing God’s will (be it killing people in holly wars or preaching God’s message/word or whatever) and wonder how come God never talks to me?
So, the question is does God talks to you and if so how do you know its the God?

I don't think God talks to us and if we feel so than i say that 'Shaitaani instinct' which let us feel that actually God talked to us and ordered us to do holly killings, and brings not thing except 'Shaar/Fitna'.

Allah talks to people in two ways through prophet sent revelations and through putting thoughts in to people’s minds based upon the divine revelations to enable people solve the real problems facing them in real world.

If you want to talk to God.. read namaz
If you want God to talk to you... read Quran.
PS: and yes, God does still talk. He talks to whomsoever he loves. To say he doesnt talk anymore is like abrogating one of his attribute.

Its means God have no choice except to wait when His servant going to read Quran. :)

I read Namaz and hope that God is looking at me
I read Dua and hope that God is listening to me
I read Quran and hope that God will increase my knowledge/give more ability to understand.

In dreams i have met and seen many gods up and close. but cant remember if i talked to them or not.

God talks as he used to. His angels still descends upon his pious servants. All the bazurgaan e deen have had experienced and felt God. There is still a chance for me, you or anyone to be so close to Allah that he communicate with us. Strive for that opportunity.
