There is some humor in Islam, I mean the famous line, if men were told to not eat poridge made out of camel dung, they would do it anyways, thinking there has to be some good in it if it is forbidden... So I think god does have sense of humor, but its not highlighted very often. For some reason, all the holy books focus on mercy and wrath as god key characteristics...

God is not a physical being.. he is beyong comprehension he is the source of immense power.. he created the universe..of course he has a sense of humour.. :D he in the Quran said.. example of a donkey is like the ppl whome the Torah was given and they failed to uphold it..

When I look at the teachers of different religions who talk so authoritatively on behalf of God......I think God really has a great sense of humor.

There are places in the Quran.. where God shows his humour as well.. for example he says.. that if you place books on a donkey he does not become an alim... :D

The similitude of those who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law but who subsequently failed in those (obligations) is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah: and Allah guides not people who do wrong.
