Does God Exist?

Re: Does God Exist?

Aside from Light Bearer, do people here have an iota of a clue of what it entails to provide evidence for "existence", or are they aware of the smack load of presumptions (not to mention, in my opinion, double standards) made in even posing the question itself? Are people aware of the limitations of formal reasoning when it comes to self-referential, heavily semantic discussions like these? The answer is in history, not in formal reasoning.

And to the Atheists...what of the solopsists? Why are they not represented here? Could it be because existential questions simply don't apply to them? Do people understand that if indeed they want to work within the framework of a formal reasoning system, that the only natural end result (given that the same arguments against faith in God can quite easily be levied against any belief) is nihilism?
