Re: Does God Exist?
^ you are back to using your belief as the proof for your belief.
Going by that logic (of something is so complex and comprehensive, so it must have been by God logic) Shakespeare's works must have been made by God too. Or pick up any of the great Indian or Greek epics!
Anyway. the point is, all religions claim a divine source, including some cults! And many of the classical religions have 'scripts' that by volume, length and complexity would seem difficult for humans to have written....we can speculate about origins of these, take what's good in them.
The question is what makes sense in these speculative faith based things? Works that promote a broad minded thought and evolution or one that restricts and demands stagnation in human civilzation, thought and behavior

I am not using my belief as proof for my belief. I am using the perfection of the Qur'an as a basis for my belief, which is confirmed through reflexion and analysis. The perfection I see in the Qur'an is not a belief it is true and objective.
Hence, Shakespeare will not qualify he had many grammatical errors in his works. Tell me which works to pick up and lets compare it with the Qur'an instead of arguing lets do the work and see which comes out on top.
The Qur'an promotes the most freedom in thought, because it teaches us to control our desires and use reason to guide our choices; so do the Hindu scriptures ... at least you should notice this similarity, instead of trying to convince yourself that Islam is restrictive or causing of stagnation. We should not move for the sake of moving, rather we should move when there is REASON to move.
