are you guys serious?....i think i used it a couple of yrs ago when i was in pakistan.... bk then it was a basic cream with some kinda lighting agent i guess....lyk [EMAIL="S@uk"]S@uk uk said.
but it fades away after a lil while...lol.... ur basically just colouring your face to make it more whiter....if you've got dark skin anyway then thats a big no no isnt it??!...all someone has to do is check out ur neck.
if they've modified the formula somehow then it cant be good for your face to be one shade and the rest of your body another!....gods knows what chemicals are in it for it to do such a thing!
I think it works in a sense when you apply it and all the chipchipa thing on your face lets all the mail stick to your face and make you look darker then you already are and then when you wash your face, you feel and look clean because the grease and matti is no longer there and some people think that its the cream thats working and making them fairer..thats what i have noticed..but its everyones choice if they want to go ahead and use it.
i have seen using many ppl fair and lovely and it works too.though i mvery fair bt iused it tooo as day cream.it makes my skin smooth bt some how its makes skin dry too.try moisturizer when u feel dryness
i am fair alhamd. and i wanted to look more and so i not only used this cream but made a mixture out of it and used that..the mixture didnt do any good but F&L.. about this i am sure i dont find any harm even after leaving it...its not only me but also my cousins and my uni friends ..they used that..but yeah if u have very dark skin then its not going to work..i dont know why...bcz we had one friend at that time and she was really very dark !and the use of the cream made her skin little bit lighter but not much difference!
now i dont use that bcz don't need to ....!
nope fair and lovely doesnt work!! Waste of money, i tried golden pearl, and it worked great, ut see when u stop using it the skin goes really strange, so its just not worth using these creams go knows wht is in them, it took alot of convincing 4rm friends and alos other guppies to tell me to stop using them, stick to natural stuff like orange peel, or lemons!!
My Masi's daughter apparantly used a mixture of Stillman and arche and became atleast 8 shades lighter. i barely recognised her. According to her
"Baji aish cream naal, pindaan day pind chittay ho gaya nay"
these lightening cremes are like starving urself when u wanna lose weight. They provide a temporary solution, but leave you look fatter than u were once you quit.
As an adult, i now LOVE my olive skin tone. I love the golden undertones that I have. And I think it's a great benefit that darker skin ages better and more slowly compared to fair skin.
BUT, when I was a teen.......especially and during my early teen years (13,14) I wanted to be fair because I thought fair meant beautiful. And I purchased a tube of fair and lovely. The cream was thick and dry and it irritated my skin. It also looked pasty on my skin.....and made me look like a ghost because it didn't absorb well into my skin. One day I put it on and I got made fun of because I looked so chalky as though I was trying too hard to be fair.
These "fairness creams" more than often don't work and if they do, it's just a temporary fix. They are NOT going to lighten your skin by 2-3 shades. You'd be lucky if they lighten you only by a 1/2 shade. And the SAD thing is that buy using these creams you are increasing your skin's sensitivity to the sun. And everyone knows that the SUN is the skin's worst enemy. The sun causes wrinkles, spotting, hyperpigmentation, and overall ages your skin.
^ But if you are still interested in applying fairness creams, please make sure that wear sunscreen before going out in the sun. You were blessed with your skin color because it looks good on you and goes well with your features. If you're only concerned about lightening **a few **spots and dark areas or uneven skin tone, then consult a dermatologist rather than buying a less than mediocre product such as fair and lovely. BUT, if you're trying to change your overall skin color.....don't........tan/dark skin is just as lovely as fair skin.......embrace yourself.
The product is a waste. Save your money for better things:)
When I got married my in-laws saw me in naturally fair skin. Ten years later - after 2 kids, and full time job and the struggles in life - I had stopped caring about myself and my skin. To top it off I was out in the sun for lonnnnggggg. So my natural fairness had taken it’s toll and I had now become naturally dark tanned…
My mom-in-law saw me after 8 years and suggested I use fair and lovely.
I did not use fair and lovely - but that made me aware that I had not been taking care of myself. So I spent time on myself and now I am few shades brighter - but I still have to achieve my original shade LOL
well I use fair n lovely too but its not for the sake of fairness reason, it gives a mat look to my face specially in summer , so i feel gud wen i waar F&L, but not forgetting to mention that I preffer only using F&L only and only that is "Made in India" if not available then i preffer investing in F&L from Dubai, as that is also made in India but of export quality, i can never take risk of my skin and complexion atleast by experimenting with F&L (Paki), golden pearl, and many others like this,
most important thing i do is that i take gud care of my skin by herbal regimes and remidies on daliy or weekly basis and i can see my skin a flawless glowing and much lighter skin(Alhamdulilla),i dont rely only on F&L, but it doesnt harm my skin as i m using it for abt 4-5 yrs but only (Indian mede),
