And a whole lot of those other similar cremes? I am just curious, not using them or anything.
How come I have never heard of any such thing in the US?

Re: Does Fair and Lovely actually work and if so how?
.. Not at all. Never needed it either.

I think such creams only bleach the colour of your facial hair. Mostly it's light brown colour that you get and that somehow helps one look lighter.
I don't think any cream can change the actual skin colour/pigmentation.
Re: Does Fair and Lovely actually work and if so how?
I am positive that it doesn't change skin pigmentation. What it does, is that it clears off dead cells from your skin surface, so that new young skin is exposed. That gives the impression that the skin is somewhat lighter, but its really that the skin is just cleaner.
I used to use a lightening cream as well, and that is all it does - it removes debris off your skin.

That's pretty cool. Does it get rid of marks then?
Re: Does Fair and Lovely actually work and if so how?
Aparently it doesn't work because there are still many unfair and not so lovely people out there.

it's better to be a bit tanned than be pasty white..me thinks..
Re: Does Fair and Lovely actually work and if so how?
But don’t people use tanning lotions in US?That’s the same idea, isn’t it. Being unhappy with your own complexion, and trying to change it through unnatural means.
