I was just curious…what does the empirical evidence suggest??

does moderation increase forum traffic or decrease it??

Moderation, like everything else, should be in moderation. :P

Too much of it will put you off and too little of it will also put you off e.g. youtube and facebook discussions... they're nasty and I don't know about you but I can't see myself posting there.

^ i was talking specifically about forums…i know it can’t be left uncontrolled fully…that goes without saying…
