Does everything really happen for a reason?

Everything does indeed happen for a reason. After things happen, you can always create a reason for them to have happened. Kind of like shoot first and where the arrow lands, call it the target.

Hope it made some sense...

Maybe it does… but this reasoning is difficult to digest when the bad time strikes.

It takes time to get out of the"why me??" phase when something happens…

:omg:

Re: Does everything really happen for a reason?

Things happen in life that change perspective and looking for a reason in every thing is really STUPID
Nothing happen for a reason,

It happen because that's how It was suppose to be with out any real reason
One can call it Gods will..
some guys fiance died in a car crash 2 weeks before shadi ...
they knew each other for 5 years and were very much in love but that accident happened just 2 weeks before shadi why????
O may be that chap needs to look for a reason rite !!

Re: Does everything really happen for a reason?

Lets put it this way, there are no such things as coincidences.

Re: Does everything really happen for a reason?

if u dont believe this saying then u will go crazy

Thats very well said. Thanks :=)

Hmm i dont agree with you. Who knows there actually could be a reason or reasons for it....Maybe it was god's way of testing his family? or maybe he paid for his sins or God knows what. It's not like everything happens without a reason or atleast i dont think so.

Re: Does everything really happen for a reason?

We say that to make ourselves feel better about things we have no control over.

I beg to disagree, although I used to think that way. Because the question arises, that two people are taking the exam, one did not study and failed and one did study and got a perfect score- what motivated the star student to study and excel? THe parental pressure, the good upbringing that the star had from his/her parents tha instilled in him a work ethic, the high IQ Allah gave him/her? An innate- God gifted- sense of consequences that the star student had , but the student that failed for one reason or another lacked?

There's always a reason for everything...that it is why it is important, to analyze every situation where we fail, so we may overcome hurdles for own future selves and children...and also to develop empathy for those that fail, and shed our pride . And when we succeed, there's always a reason for that too...a motivation instilled by someone inspiring, a good upbringing, a good IQ, a good work ethic instilled by someone...All for which we should be grateful to ALLah...

All successess and failures belong to Allah, which were written down ages ago, and they all happen for a reason. Thus we say, it's our kismat...shukr in our glory days, innalillah in our down days.

Re: Does everything really happen for a reason?

I dont know........... to make myself feel loved i just believe well Allah only tests the people he's thinking about. But sometimes its too much and i cant take it anymore.

90% of things that have happened to me my family my boyfriend. I cant even find a reason for it. :(

so true..n i think its okay to think everything happens for a reason coz otherwise u'll be angry n remorseful trying to know y it happened..thats what i have learned its easy to moveon if u think it happened for a reason

Re: Does everything really happen for a reason?

Ofcourse everything happens for a reason....u trust this statement when u believe in destiny that Allah has planned for us...in our lives we face a lot of ups and downs...sometimes u dont...at that time...forsee the consequences of wat has happened...but in the long run...u understand that it was best for u at that time...n yet sometimes such a tragedy occurs in which u dont see any good.....u r left heartbroken n dejected...but Allah has plans for you...maybe its the aazmaysh that u dont understand....n Allah taa'lah will give u the ajar in aakhira...thats why Allah loves his people who are sabir n shakir...
may Allah guide us to the right path (Ameen)
