my sister in law had her baby through VB and used Epidural. but since then she is having backapain. does anybody has the same experience? does epidural leads to permanent backaches??
I had epidural twice. My sil did twice as well. No permanent pain bt yes little especially when bending.

there is no medical evidence to prove epis cause permanent back pain.
I had epidural and still feel pain after 5 months. Its not all the time but during bending and when I am tired or walk alot. Ill never take it next time because its not a good idea to get pain relief for a few hours and end up in kind of long term pain.

i had epidural and its been 4 yrs still i have backache so bad…it hurts more if i sleep for longer hours

I had an epidural with my second delivery, in fact, it was a complete spinal block and I’ve had no back pain whatsoever. It’s been 8 years.
No side effects here either.

No side affects. The back pain are from incorrect ways of picking up kids.. not taking better care of ourselves postpartum and just general tiredness.
I dont think that mine is due to some other fact because I can literally pin point that part of bone.

3 years since my first epidural and 6 months since my second and no pain whatsoever.

i had epidural more than 2 years ago, no back pain
but i do get pain in ribs or back when i sleep for longer hours, or when i am just being lazy lying in bed while baby is asleep but that can be because i am not used to being in bed for a long time.

No side effects. I had epidural I had no choice after 23 hours in labour. That was 3 years ago and thank god no side effects.

I had a spinal block for a cerclage placement in my current pregnancy and no long term back pain alhumdulalilah. I only had a sore back for like a week.

I’d say, every medicine works differently on different patients. You should speak to your Doc who can guide you best according to you and your previous medical records.
