Cricinfo [is reporting](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/Two Pakistan players issued notices before scandal) that two Pakistani players were already under ACSU scanner before the spot fixing scandal. According to them, one has already been suspended by ICC last week. While cricinfo preferred not to name these two, but they are Akmal and Butt as per Daily Mail UK report.
Do you all remember Ijaz Butt mentioning about two Pakistani players involved in match fixing back in February this year after the australian tour?
Seems like ICC did talk about these two with PCB back in February and Uncle Butt spilled the beans at that time.
yep that is exactly right…those news came out but PCB simply did not take action…Poor ICC has been trying to get the things done in a right manner but PCB is simply blocking it…had an action been taken 8 months ago by conducting a proper investigation, we would have saved ourselves from this utter embarrassment…I wish someone go and do some serious “littration” of Ijaz Butt (with all due respect to his age)….lanati kardar he is….and then we have nerves to call ICC racist…..ICC has been extremely lenient towards Pakistan as far as match fixing is concerned….they wanted PCB to take an action….the world was trying to help us out but look what have we done…..it is sad…so sad….
It's really shameful what kind of people are elected to run the show in Pakistan. The most our president has done for the flood victims is photo op with a few unfortunate ones. And Butt will open his mouth when he shouldn't and stay quite when he is needed he most. Really sad.
I am sure there were more than two individuals esp. the way they set the field AND batted on that last day of the Sydney test
GA, I am not sure about field setting because that would imply that Yousuf and the coach were involved as well, if any fishy business was going on that day. Plus ACSU is claiming that players were underperforming to fail Yousuf.
