G’day folks,
Does anybody remember 50-50, it has to be the funniest show I have seen. All the main stars, Ismail Tara, Majid Jehangir etc were brilliant, almost to the point of perfection.
The best thing about them was that they made fun of every day life…thele waale, beauty parlours, doctors, fakeers, neighbours, wapda ke line men…
If you haven’t seen it, get it on video…if you have seen it, I know you had fun watching, cause I definitely did.
I don’t know about todays dramas…but another one of my favourites is Khwaja and Son, starring Ali Ejaz, Arifa Siddiqui etc. That is also a true blue classic.
This is the best Pakistani entertainment I’ve seen. I wish they could make similar things today…they would be a treat to watch. Better than any Indian movie, or any English movie for that matter.

50 50 was just brilliant. Shoib Mansoor is a brilliant. Its just sad that talented people lik Majid Jahangir had to relocate to foriegn countries to seek emplyment.
Majid, Ismail Tara, Zeba Shehnaz, Latif Kapadia and rest of the cast were brilliant.
I heard that Shoib is putting up something with the format of SNL. Where there will be a guest person and a musical guest. Lets see what happens.....
By the way, I watch this comedy Drama last month on video. Because i saw that at work. They just bought that, so took it and watched it again.
