Does anyone make their own jewelery?

I want to get started and buy my mom a kit too.

She’ll probably make simple string necklace with semi-precious stones, perhaps inserting gold/silver beads in etc and drop and/or chandelier earrings.

I was wondering if someone could list what are the basic equipment needs?

I went to the store and there are tons and it gets expensive!

Thanks!

Re: Does anyone make their own jewelery?

you can buy small kits with the beads and thread and they have the metal things for earings (the bit that goes threw the ear)and clasps for necklaces and youd need a pair of small wire clippers/pliers and a pair of scissors and perhaps exrtra strong quick dry craft glu
