Re: Does anyone in Pakistan even consider sending their kids to govt school?
i myself am a product of pakistani govt. school......
i was in a private school till class 8....afer that i had to go to this govt. school forr 2 yrs coz my school didn't offer science courses...
but i know i did well coz my ammi kept a check on us n used to teach us herself too....but some of my class mates didn't recieve any help from school or family n they couldn't do well!!
some govt. schools are good n some are just bad .....much depends on administration n the area they are in .....like for example govt. schools in big cities (pindi, islamabad etc. ) are quite ok but the ones in far off villages are mostly good for nothing....
govt. colleges , on the other hands are excellent at some places ....i did my graduation from a govt. college (homec) ....n it was great!
