PTV used to telecast a British drama series. I think it was called “Tales from the dark side”. It was quire scary and seemed realistic. The format was based on short stories with an unexpected twist at the end. at the beginning of every episode a narrator would introduce the story. At the end , he used to say “till then enjoy the day light” or something like that. does anybody remember this series ?

They used to show a lot of british stuff back then....only fools and horses...fawlty towers, some mothers do ave em!!!! All gold

Actually it was on NTM. Steven Spielberg's tales from the dark side was a big HIT . Yeah it was so scary, and people enjoyed it. NTM also aired Alfred Hichcock which was also Good.

it used to come late at night on PTV not NTM. NTM had not started at that time.
the host would end episode with the line 'and have sweet dreams.' it was very scary.
