Which kind of workers are in majority in the world ? Blue collar or white collar ?

only a guess, but surely there must be more blue collor than white. (Queen bee/worker bee)
saying that the stats are shifting over as people become more literate and service sector grows
Well if we only consider USA here .. Then we can say due to techonology revolution ,the proportion of white collar workers in the United States steadily increased from 17% of employees in 1900 to 59.4% (Bureau of the Census, 1990, p380) of employees having white-collar jobs in 1998.
But hey what about some one like me , a white collar employee often performing blue collar tasks ?

Is a hunter/gatherer blue collar? How about farmer? Those are the occupations of the majority of mankind.
