Those are fixed saving certificates that you can get from the bank in Pakistan. You deposit any amount of money for some fixed time duration which can be of 3 months, a year or 10 yrs or so. Ofcourse you’ll earn more interest if you deposit your money for longer time period.
The interest is calculated based on this set time duration. its the fixed interest - meaning doesn’t fluctuate with the market unless federal govt decides to change it. You get profit every month. need to go to the bank with the certificate and get your money.
I’m not sure about the penalties incase you decide to withdrawal your money. But i know that bank requires some advance notice.

Well they say the investee need not to be present at the time investment - just applicaiton form + copy of cnic is sufficient. But one needs to personally present at the time of encashment or profit collection.
