Does an islamic political system allow for multi-party system?

In Islam the State is a Theocracy and is ruled as per laws of the Islamic State or Sharia'h. Examples would be Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan.

Islamic State does not allow for a multi-part system. It is ruled by theocrats (Ulemas) in a theocracy.

Ranjeet, Islam does not specify any typical style of government. It does however, enjoins its followers to adhere to the following:

"they conduct their affairs by mutual consultation." (Shura:38)

Mutual consultation is now a days known as democracy. So yes Islam does encourage individuals to act as per mutual consultation, which will allow everyone to express his/her opinion.

Dear Logical,

After the death of Prophet Mohammad, abu Bakr, the first caliph, was ELECTED by the muslims. The three caliphs after him were also elected. Then the party-system and propaganda came in, and the Islamic state divided, under caliphs which were favoured by the people of the particular areas.

How on earth can you then say Islam believes in the system of Theocracy? You are spreading deliberate misinformation, which is against the rules of the forum.

Your game-play is very similar to the findamentalist clerics that I have spent my life among. Purposely mis-informing those who do not know!

Now that I have caught you red-handed spreading misinformation, isn't it enough of a shame for you?

.....So they turned away from him and said, '' A man tutored, possessed! ''
