If a person cares about you to begin with…absence can make the heart grow fonder. If they don’t feel anything for you, then it can be out of sight, out of mind.

Or your absence (or playing-hard-to-get) may make someone become more curious about you since you’ve taken away the attention that they’re so used to receiving…but that “curiosity” may be more about their ego and not develop into deeper feelings/relationship.

I agree! If the person really cares for you, then absence does make the heart grow fonder or else it’s out of sight, out of mind!!
