njgal - sometimes doctors don't seem so intelligent.
It seems that they are making you go through sh*t just so they are not "liable" in case something happens that went undetected.
They care about covering their butt more than anything - which makes more money for them.
oh and I gotta ask you guys about this - My doctor sends me to get blood work done for the yearly physical test, BUT she does NOT give the results or read the results on the phone. SHE says YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and see me EVEN if ALL YOUR RESULTS ARE NORMAL - so I can let you know that your results are normal!
How RIDICULOUS is that? Cause if I take the next appointment JUST for the reading then I have to pay another $20 co-pay!
I am changing my doctor, cause my previous doctor NEVER did something like this. We moved so I had no option but to change dr.
I think MY doctor is GREEDY for that $20 co-pay. AND she makes you wait for 4 hours BEFORE you even get to see her cause she OVERBOOKS. Bad practice - greedy doctor. Bi*ch.
