Whats wrong with the Doctors in Pakistan? No one is willing to serve rural areas. Everyone needs job in Urban area to live a lavish lifestyle.
In rural areas, first of all there are hospitals without basic facilities (no beds, no medicines or expired medicines). In case, government provide medicines with label ‘Not for Sale’, these respected doctors sell those medicines to medical stores. These qualified doctors if by chance agree to work in a hospital in rural area, they give priority to their private clinics in evening time and if a patient gets problem in day time, their behavior is drastically different and pathetic to deal with such patient in government hospital.
I don’t see any difference between a qasai and such doctor whose only aim in life is earn and earn. They neither have any respect for the undertaking they took while becoming Doctor nor they have any feeling for the people they do belong to. Yes doctors belonging to those rural areas are total failure to return what their land owes to them.

Recently in our relatives, they finalise a rishta of their daughter (would be doctor), because the boy (who is doing his house job in LaRkana) confirmed that they will not stay in rural areas and will either work in either Hyderabad or Karachi. baqi villagers maren to maren

Whenever he got problem he went to his private clinic in evening and the specialist gave medicines after charging his fees. Recently the patient got problem in night and he was taken to government hospital where that so called specialist is an employee. When he saw the patient (who used to fill his pocket with fees at his clinic) in government hospital (which supposed to be haramkhori ka adda) he said to patient: Tum la ilaaj ho...

Exactly why don’t these heirs of shuhda don’t build proper hospitals in rural areas (the play card for) instead of naming medical colleges on the name of their so called shuhda. Yes I’m referring to Chandka Medical College which has been named ‘Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto medical College’
You may not believe, but I have seen many normal delivery cases getting complicated due to this behavior. All the brilliant students want to have career in big hospitals like Agha Khan, etc and what poor rural areas get mad half-maids in the name of gynecologists.
They first say everything is normal… Then at time will say, when can’t handle this case. take to her Hyderabad… Traveling in such state make case more complicated and they have to hear punch line ‘Take the case to Karachi’.

vahaN untrained, uneducated and uninformed doctors mileNge lol…magar vahaN ek breed aur hai doctors kii…ya’nii…BUMS doctors [Doctor in Unani Medicine and Surgery]…they’ve quite an extensive network. serious cases are brought to cities.
mujhe yaad hai k mujhe bachpane meN mere maamuuN ke kutte ne kaaT liyaa thaa…gaaoN ke ek doctor ke paas Abba mujhe le gaye…unhoN ne ek injection * and asked me to keep an eye on the dog for 3 days…if the dog died within 3 days, come to me for 14 injections lol…he also advised my father k agar aapkaa beTaa paanii dekh kar Dare aur cxheeKhe to mere paas fauran le aaiye…hahahahaha…so much for the treatment!

if the dog dies within three days that will tell us that the dog was RABID meaning he had rabies virus and i needed the anti-rabies vaccine…ab gaaoN ke DR ke paas $700 DOLLAR kii vaccine kahaN rahii hogii? lol …
BTW I recently observed a typical example. normally people who can't afford expensive treatment they take support of Mazars and Atai tabbeeb. One of our relative who retired as High School Teacher and MA is economically stable due to his medical stores had his son who got some kidney problem (requiring dialysis) from childhood. They were consulting his problem with specialists as they could afford to bear hospitalisation in expensive hospitals of Karachi. All of sudden, they heard about some tabeeb who could wonder with little or no medication. They took the boy to that tabeeb and he suggested them with some powder and asked them to give the boy food without namak and oil. The boy was only allowed to have 2-3 vegetables like tori, kaddu, etc (without salt and oil).
They avoided dialysis treatment and followed that tabeeb and the boy lost his life with 6 months :(
No I have seen those doctors chanting and dancing ‘Sindh Muhinji Amma’, but I don’t know whats their Sindh is. Its not poor people of Sindh, its their greed for Lakshmi Devi
