My mom almost never wears makeup...only a bit of lipstick when going out. But mashallah she is very youthful and beautiful looking. She's very low maintenance and is not into beauty stuff at all. I wish that she was into more girly things and could have taught me about beauty stuff when I was younger because since I have no sisters, I've had to figure things out on my own.
I'm 24 and I'm still figuring things out :S
I hope that my daughters will be able to look up to me and watch me putting makeup on to get dolled up for my hubby :)
I've never seen either of my grandmothers with make-up on, and they'll probably say it was never invented, LOL. jk, I'm sure they wore some surma/kajl back in the day. My mom says she really only used to wear lipsticks after she got married, but now she doesnt wear much when going out everyday. For parties/weddings of course she'll dab a little foundation, eyeliner, mascara and blush. :)
Mom most def yes but only lipstick, kohl and blush !! She also wears colored contacts while going out !! Mommie is just gorgeoussssss, till date people refuse to believe she is my mom !!

i dont think my grand mothers ever wore makeup... maybe surma though. Mom wears makeup but very minimal and natural. A light lipstick and a hint of blush. :)
My grandmothers were big believers in oil and surma. That was the most “cosmetics” they ever used I believe. My mom when she was working or even parties, she used to wear proper makeup, ie pressed powder, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lipstick. She wasn’t a big fan of nail polishes because of the wudhu factor, and still isn’t, but I make her wear it sometimes. She otherwise buys the newest and funnest shades for me because I like them. I picked up on makeup from her (even ruined a few of her prized lipsticks). Now that she is older, she doesn’t use a lot of the foundation/powder stuff, but she does put on eyeliner and definitely lipsticks and lip glosses along with filling in her eyebrows, and she looks so much different and younger this way. I do have to tone down her makeup at times, because she still experiments with her looks, but she looks pretty to me with out without makeup, no matter what :jano:
My mom never wears make up, she has this flawless glowing skin, with pink cheeks and pink lips, but she always has a drawer filled with expired makeup :D she's over 50 and she looks younger than my eldest sister :) or maybe me too. I wish i had such flawless skin :( My dadi died young though and nani never ever wears any makeup, wese bhi she is over 80 now and she hates makeup.
My mom has never worn makeup. The only thing that she puts on her face is a moisturizer. Her getting-ready routine consists of shower, moisturizer, deodorant, and perfume. As for my grandma's, neither used any makeup.
