I don’t think I had the discipline to be able to study hard at school. It wasn’t until I went to university that I have actually started to really study.
Did you study hard when you were at school or do you wish you had tried harder and got yourself better grades etc?
Yes. Depends in what atmopshere u lived when u was in school. I remember when we passed 8th class. There were only 6 students out of 24 who passed the final exam. The worst result of our class ever recorded. :D
I used to be an average student in my childhood. At secondary school, I was a good student, studied a lot especially in the last few years of Secondary school. At college, I didn’t work in my first year.Later,I did because I had to get into uni. At uni, I study like a mad cow. lol Working hard because I went to end up at 1:1 degree, Insha_Allah.
I agree ,I didn’t know I had to study when I was at school. It was fun days. haha
I wish I had studied biology when I was doing my O' levels. I had the option to drop biology and I did just that, cause I thought biology was all about memorizing stuff (it sorta is) and I'm not good at retaining information. But I was a decent student and I couldn't ask more of my past self. I wish I gone out more, done more stuff other than studying.

Biology was fun at Gcse/O levels. I found Bio easy compared to Chemistry and Physics. It was like everyday i am learning a new thing about human bodies , plants etc. It was more like going through a short story. I loved it.
^ I was just too scared of it, back in grade 8. And we had to choose between Biology and Additional Mathematics, just couldn't give up a mathematics challenge. Physics was my favorite, cause it didn't involve retaining tons of info. Physics and Mathematics just kicked everything aside.
Biology was one of my fav subject but when result appreard, shocking I was failed. Due to some realiable sources, I came to know that my number were sold to someone else. That time I given exams through Intermediate Boards. Since that i didn't payed attention to my studies as usually I do.
in my case, it was more ignoring/neglecting my studies and i paid heavily for that…but…whenever i studied i studied with conviction and it paid off and wiped out the bad taste left by bad decisions i made in my life…i regret one thing though and that is…i wish i did NOT skip classes 70% of the time…i’d have been a neurosurgeon by now!

lol yes getting good grades in school is important but not to the extent that u dont play games with ur friends n classmates n consider it as a time-waste…
yess that was me.
