Wikipedia is rapidly becoming a major reference for people doing online searches, unfortunately because of it’s peculiar nature.. it’s a place where those who shout loudest get heard (although now that I think about it that doesn’t sound very different from real life).
Anyway before i digress, I’d just like to make an appeal to those of you with knowledge of history, religion and culture to get out there and participate in the process. I was going through their featured articles section (those articles which wikipedia recognises as well written) the other day ..have a look at whats missing from the religion section.

Basically no direct reference to Islam …in the whole world there is not one article Muslims have managed to collectively write which is of standard..besides Islam there is plenty of work needed on things ranging from prominent Muslims overseas..or if it’s more your forte on Pakistan history or geography..improvements on sections dealing with your hometown or district, questions about language and culture etc.. or hell maybe even an entry about paklinks or even desi cuisine..
Simply put..do you wiki? well if you are smart enough start..!
