Makeup (concealers/foundations) tends to oxidize after about 5 mins of being exposed to air/being on your skin. When you are testing which shade of foundation works best for your skin go to the mall, do a test, and walk around the mall for a while.. if you feel like you look the same as you did in the store (store’s have lighting placed to make you look flawless on purpose lol) or as your normal skin would, then you’re safe. If you’re lighter or darker - the shade is probably not correct.
