Do you wax or thread

your eyebrows?

I’ve a confession to make. I haven’t got my eyebrows done for about 2 years now (Thank heavens for not giving me eyebrows that grow out like bushes and weeds). The reason was that this lady, while threading my eyebrows, took a chunk of my skin off from underneath the brows. It frightened me so much that I didn’t dare going back. However, I’ve been itching to get my eyebrows neat looking once again.

Should I go for eyebrow wax or back to threading :bummer:? Which gives you neater result in less time and less pain?

Threading, the area around the eyes is very delicate and the area is small as well.. u can control threading and if need be pluck-out a hair at a time around hard to reach area's like inbetween u're eyebrows..

Waxing is great for larger area's.. :) upper-lip..chin

Re: Do you wax or thread

OMG HOW did she take a chunk of skin off??? i hope u sued her, OW!

Re: Do you wax or thread

Threading.

I havnt had mine threaded for well over a year now, dont really have the time or patience for it anymore.

Oh and there is no such thing as 'less pain' when it comes to threading/waxing.

Re: Do you wax or thread

Threading is a better option for eyebrows. I like to do it myself. I get it done out only when I have to attend any photographic event -where I know pics are a must =)

Re: Do you wax or thread

Threading, always and only. Waxing is not as precise. And how the heck do you desi girls go without threading?

I can't go two weeks without wondering if a bird will come by and build its nest on my brows...

ETA: I am also receiving laser hair removal treatments on my entire body, but have asked them to leave my eyebrows alone. They are so vital to framing your face that I only trust my threading lady.

threading only...i do it myself..not only eyebrows but chin and lips as well.....and once every 3-4 weeks...they dont grow that bad:) alhamd.

hey how do u guys manage to do ur eyebrows on ur own? i have been trying to but after all i faied :(, do u thread the area or pluck with the tweezer? and how do u remove hars from chin and face and upperlips, plz guide me, i m really looking forward for good advice.........

Re: Do you wax or thread

I wax it.

For those area's waxing is great.. but be careful when sugaring.. many people tend to breakout with that..

Re: Do you wax or thread

i thread and pluck i find it easier for my eyebrows.

Re: Do you wax or thread

do u suggest threading for light eyebrows aswell?
i have got a problem with my eye brows because they are so light from the edges and hardly grow, i got them threaded once from pakistan and it hurt so much and they became so thin. the inner side of the brows are slightly darker then the outer side therefore it is so hard to make a shape without them getting so thin. nowadays i always end up wearing an eyebrow pencil, what you u suggest to do to get the eyebrows darker?

Re: Do you wax or thread

thread it:hmmm:

:omg: i find it hard to thread my right eyebrow cuz of the hair direction

Re: Do you wax or thread

^pluck the part that's hard to do with threading.

Re: Do you wax or thread

I know threading hurts but its better...

thats what i do:bummer:
i never let them get bushy cuz i am not to good at plucking bulk of hairs.my hands start hurting:bummer:

Re: Do you wax or thread

get it plucked....you have more control over whats being taken out.

Re: Do you wax or thread

Stop torturing yourselves, ladies. :hayaa:

Teggy in life forums… :hayaa:

I love threading and I get it done professionally from a renound place. I have done waxing too but only when I am unable to get threading. If you know a skilled person for threading then go for threading.
