We are in a market for a new TV and i was discussing a certain TV and the apps and stuff available on it but this got me thinking we don’t watch TV at all. I’m on my laptop or smartphone all the time. If I need to watch something I just download or stream it from Amazon Prime. Same thing for my brothers and my Ammi Jaan jus streams the TV shows on her phone so it’s kitchen or any other room in the house. The only time we do watch is if there is a good movie on or just hook up the laptop. So I don’t think we need TV at all except to play games or watch a movie here and then.
What about you guys? Still watch TV or do you catch up online?

If there is something watchable, and there is no ad while watching the tv show, and there is channel flipping, then that really makes me angry. Hulk angry!
We don’t have a tele here and since I moved from Pakistan, I have lost the appetite of watching TV. I will only prefer to watch a cricket match on tele.
I am watching pyary afzal now a days on net, a HUM TV serial. But I think watching tele together was fun. Sitting together and watching it with sealed lips and pin drop silence as some magic show is going on. There was just one channel at that time i.e. PTV.
I have a memory form days when we didnt have a TV and I was like a kid then. We used to go to out well off neighbours to watch TV sometimes and one day they just switched it off and said, its finished. We came back with latkay huay boothay to home (may be cuz it was good play, dont remember now). My father came to know about this and he said, dont ever go to anybody’s place to watch TV and I will bring you one ( when he is in that mood we know its done thing) and I remember the day he brought it, it was hajj day, some of his friends came to watch hajj on out TV.
