Yes, I do and sometimes realize later maybe I shouldn't trust so easily. BUT I still do trust a few people on here.

I trust everyong here and I know they speak according to their knowledge, experience and observation. At the end of the day, I am responsible for all my actions and views and if I don't agree with someone here, that doesn't mean he/ she is providing me wrong advice. Its just that they advise according to their knowledge and opinions.

I think philo meant on a personal level not in terms of their intentions behind advice. BUT obviously no one shares debit pin even with people off GS unless they are your spouse or something. So do you trust people on a friends level and share things about your life?

trust is not an spontaneous thing which you do blindly. you build trust with time and your actions speak itself.

As for the question, I'm not sure. Trust as in I think they're real people and who they say they are then yeah, I'm quick to trust. But it's turning out to be the wrong approach here.

We hardly trust anyone with our details like bank accounts, debit pin etc. There is a hierarchy of people in terms of trust. We trust our spouse and children with such sensitive info (parents and siblings can also be trusted with such info). The next in hierarchy are our close friends with whom we can share our personal details like our family problems, crushes, rishta issues etc. I see that people here on GS do trust each other with such details and info since we share anonymously here and expect to get views from different people. So perhaps our trust here on GS is based on the fact that we are anonymous here, we don't know anybody here personally and we expect to get advices without any bias and thus we get to know our faults also.
