I'm so used to the crap in tap water that I think bottled water tastes bland.
:D
you ever go to the science centre, and do that water drinking test?
they've got three types of water fountains, and you drink from each one. and then you go and enter in your answers on a computer, and it tells you which water is from where.
anywho, even with bottled water, they say you shouldn't reuse the bottles over and over again. baterica can grow in them, and then you'd be drinking down bacteria-filled water. ewww.
PS: I was referring towards the water here in the US... I didn't know that you were talking about water in Pakistan. :-)
Stick to bottled water then!
**Either one, but the bad experiences have always been in Pakland, since most of us get homesick for the old country, but the visit home can be ruined by total dehydration if you know what I mean...:( **
**Your right Pir Sahib, lately there was concern about PCB's produced by the plastic used in containers when they are heated. so as long as you keep the bottle cool and not be overzealous and boil the bottle with the water in it............:D **

Yes 'smilestar' we experinced that with some 2 gallon plastic bottles we were using to carry home water from a local 200 ft deep artesian well or spring, after a few months even though they were being thoroughly rinsed, I noticed green algea growing at the bottom, and the only way to get rid of it was to rinse with chlorine bleach so we were back to square one..:(
are individual 8 oz bottles also dangerous or is it only the one gallon ones (since they water tend to stay in them for longer?)
i read this somewhere too...they recommended buying the glass bottles (poland spring has them but they are seem like such a hassle to carry around )
SindSagar: i've never seen the perrier brand in nyc. fiji seemed to be the purest to me (artesian) but i keep going back to poland spring because fiji tastes like well-water (kuwaein ka paani)
