Do you trust your Water Supply?

Re: Do you trust your Water Supply?

:D

you ever go to the science centre, and do that water drinking test?
they've got three types of water fountains, and you drink from each one. and then you go and enter in your answers on a computer, and it tells you which water is from where.

anywho, even with bottled water, they say you shouldn't reuse the bottles over and over again. baterica can grow in them, and then you'd be drinking down bacteria-filled water. ewww.

Re: Do you trust your Water Supply?

Well our tap water is high in calcium (or one of the minerals I don't remember) so we drink and cook with bottle water.

Re: Do you trust your Water Supply?

Bottled water, but i doubt its any better than tap water.

Yes 'smilestar' we experinced that with some 2 gallon plastic bottles we were using to carry home water from a local 200 ft deep artesian well or spring, after a few months even though they were being thoroughly rinsed, I noticed green algea growing at the bottom, and the only way to get rid of it was to rinse with chlorine bleach so we were back to square one..:(

Re: Do you trust your Water Supply?

are individual 8 oz bottles also dangerous or is it only the one gallon ones (since they water tend to stay in them for longer?)
i read this somewhere too...they recommended buying the glass bottles (poland spring has them but they are seem like such a hassle to carry around )

SindSagar: i've never seen the perrier brand in nyc. fiji seemed to be the purest to me (artesian) but i keep going back to poland spring because fiji tastes like well-water (kuwaein ka paani)
