What if you fall into a lake or the sea..at least you should be able to keep urself afloat!!! Even good swimmers die drowning..if you have no clue you dnt stand a chance to even try.

Definitely, i agree with aaliyah that it could save your life one day(what if God forbid, you're on a plane and it lands in the water?) so i think its an important ability to have.

its optional, stil if u knew it u can save ur or someone's life (God forbid in case of some bad time )
