Here is a test... How many Brits or Aussie fans would call in sick for a England vs Australia match, compare that to how many of us would call in sick just to watch Pak vs India... The Winner is the Pakisan vs India series by far.

I don't think India vs. Pakistan is so popular because it is India vs. Pakistan. Not because we have fought wars or used to be the same countries. Not even that we have two of the most passionate sports fans on the planet earth.

We don't see a kabbadi match between the two rivals watched in big numbers. The reason Cricket is so popular is because of players. In last 20 years, both India and Pakistan have prduced one of the greatest cricketers ever. Batting, bowling, spin...you name it. They started their career and became legend. During last tour, Mohammad Asif was discovered. This tour is going to be no different. Great match ups, anticipations and upsets. Tendulkar vs Akhtar. Afridi. Two fairly new captains whoes every move will be watched with close eyes. Both teams are coming off a terrible world cup and want to know the future.

Its going to be a great, well fought series that can never be over hyped. This is why India vs. Pakistan is what it is.
