After the successful two match tour by World XI, do you think it marks as resumption of International cricket in pak or still there is a long way to go.
Basically what do you think of this tour, do you think it served its intended purpose of symbol of resumption of cricket?
IF not what do you think should be next step?

It’s a first step, no matter how small. 
The next logical thing to do would be to schedule a tour (or even better, a tournament) for Ireland, Afghanistan and Kenya, countries like that. Something like an ‘Associate Cup’ or along those lines. Schedule it in multiple venues, the three major ones. After that, have either Ireland or Afghanistan stay full on for a full Twnety20/ODI tour. And then, hope for the best.
Personally, I believe the security of the guests that visit is more important than playing matches in Pakistan. International cricket will resume, one way or another, next year or next decade, but our house cleaning is many a times more of essence.

Neither PCB nor ICC arranged this. They permitted their players to participate. Its kind of like the country making an appeal for its own case.
Its really up to the member nations now to tell ICC that they feel safe to tour in Pakistan.
Lets see who will be the first friendly nation to do that? Zimbabwe? Afghanistan? Ireland?

You make a very valid argument. Perhaps it is not in hands of PCB (directly) to revive international cricket on its own. At the end of the day other nations will have to make that decision and only they can tell ICC that they feel safe.

Also there is a lot of politics not related to cricket which is playing its part behind the scenes.

Premier league that PCB is planning will be the real deal. That'll tell if players feel safe to come to Pakistan.
