So that gives every 3rd world country in Asia where Sunnis are majority the loving right to kill/torture/etc ALL other various Islamic sects under the sun? Even in a country as Bahrain where Shias are the majority, they get to feel the love of Sunni runned goverment...lol
I cant understand why a majority feels threatened by other minorities?
I think bulleshah asked the same question and I had already answered what I had meant initially, even though I did not feel that an explanation was needed.
did you miss the following post of mine or does that leave something to be desired in terms of clarification, or did you just miss it. I think the post leaves no major questions on where I stand when we talk about religious and sectarian oppression.
what I stated was that the treatment of shia by sunni regimes is inexcusable
and that does not justify how Iran treats its sunni (or other minorities)
dont get me wrong. My view is that we have to stand firm on this stuff...no discrminiation, no oppression, against anyone, whether they are shia, sunni, ahmedi, bahai, christian, hindu, rastafarian, druid, wiccan whatever.
when we say oh well this is not as bad as that, lets make sure we are not using that comparison to justify wrong acts by one group or nation because they are less than the other nation.
