dekhna = to look,
‘dikhna’ = nazar aana = to appear, to be shown.

It is similar to the difference between Murshid and Murshad, or Muntazir and Muntazar.

i thought Murshid/Murshad and Muntazir/Muntazar are just different pronunciations of the same word, no difference in meanings
