also, its not considering ourselves superior but acknowledging the large amount of admirable qualities in our culture and our people which is good for a change since we bash ourselves more often than we pat ourselves on the shoulder.

No. fraud.. I am sorry. you were right. I used the same crappy 1$ globe that shows Israel in Asia Minor (the pre 67 borders). It actually shows Palestine also, but calls it Territory of Trans Jordan. I can’t find Pakistan on the Map at all. No mention of Erritria either.
NYA could you locate Kurdistan on that globe for me please :)

My point was that I don’t regard myself as the same as a Hindu Indian, or a Christian Sri-Lankan. I am a Pakistani Muslim. Muslim first and foremost who’s roots are in Pakistan
You wouldn’t go up to a Frenchman and call him European.. so why would we let ourselves be called ‘Desi’ or ‘Asian’?
If anybody asks me if i’m Asian, or Indian - I tell them i’m Pakistani - I don’t just say Asian!
Am I the only one that thinks this?
By the way, Koreans are referred to as Far-Eastern, not Asian
