I would rather see that money spent on kids who suffer after going through such incidents.
The penis is merely the tool to abuse a child. Castration does not remove the motivation to abuse.
Lets see we have someone who would rape a child and potentially kill them...
Why would you use public money to castrate them?
Then use more public money and resources for their health, their care and other administrative needs?
What is the guarantee that they will not turn around and use some other tool to continue their abusive practices? Like a sex toy or something as revenge?
What if that person becomes mentally unstable because of the fact that their "man"hood is gone? It can happen... what if they decide to pick up a gun or something and shoot up people in some school or public area?
Once found guilty, just get rid of the disease all together and not baby sit it.
castration reduces a person's sex drive or eliminates it altogether. Once castrated he wont have the desire to abuse again.
as far as getting rid of the disease....in many instances it just doesnt work. Abusers tend to have relapses after being 'treated'

A sex offenders 's average molestations /sex offenss are somewhere in the 200's before they are caught.These are real numbers...Do yyou think that they can be just forgiven. There are however 2 kinds of sex offenders
One are Oppurtunists that just commit because of a situation.
The other are the ones that are dieseased with the attraction towards kids.These people are the ones that never change.They repeat their crimes more then 80%.They just hide it better.

If that relative was to abuse a fellow relative's kid then they wouldn't think twice before reporting them! Jab aaj andhar lagti hai tu pata chalta hai.

because "social utilities" dont help.....the abuser has a great chance of relapsing. If they are known as "repeat" offenders that means they are in the system and most of them have had "help" previously....yet despite that they keep doing it.
Like I said before..if you castrate them....they will no longer be able to hurt another innocent child because the sex drive will be significantly reduced or eliminated altogether.
as far as life imprisonment....a child molester will never make it. Inmates will eat him alive in there.....a child molester is the most hated...even among criminals. You are better off just giving him the chair.
