What about providing greater social utility than execution /castration
By “social utility” I mean things like crime prevention, rehabilitation, and deterrence.
If necessary the last option in my books would be life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
because "social utilities" dont help.....the abuser has a great chance of relapsing. If they are known as "repeat" offenders that means they are in the system and most of them have had "help" previously....yet despite that they keep doing it.
Like I said before..if you castrate them....they will no longer be able to hurt another innocent child because the sex drive will be significantly reduced or eliminated altogether.
as far as life imprisonment....a child molester will never make it. Inmates will eat him alive in there.....a child molester is the most hated...even among criminals. You are better off just giving him the chair.
