Re: Do You Take Naps?
I have never been able to take naps.
I remember when we used to take summer vacations in Karachi and after lunch the whole house would shut down and everyone would take an afternoon nap. It was frustrating for me because I was not in the habit of napping and no matter what I did, I simply could not fall asleep. I would, of course, find other things (almost always mischievous ones) to do with the rest of the kiddie brigade but nap I would not.
I also know of people that are able to take “cat naps” that are quite short in duration and revitalize themselves. For example people who will pull over in the rest area on a long drive and nap for 20 minutes. Once they have this restful sleep they are perfectly fine to go on with their drive for hours. Again…not me.
I need my 7-9 hours.
it was same in our house and literally all the families in the neighborhood. all area used to get dead in the afternoons.
