Do you succumb to ur kids nagging abt stuff they want ?
for those who dont…do you firmly say NO…or u reason with kids?
for those who do succumb…do u think kids take advantage of this ?

i sometimes firmly say no and she whines sometimes cries but later on after few minutes becomes normal while on the other hand my husband can never say no to her n i mean NEVER she baby talks him or cries or worst she ll say daddy dont u want me to love u and be ur best friend n no matter how much i resist or stare or poke him he always gets her what she wants n yes she takes advantage of it ....i think as parents we shld sometimes say no to kids so that they can learn that they cant get everything

Well it depends...remember what they say...choose your battles wisely....if he wants to extra ten minutes outside playing with his friends...I say yes and if we are in target and he is whining about buying another toy...I say No...
You shouldn't say no to everything...key is balancing! You want to make the child understand what you are doing is for his/her benefit!
