No matter what you do. there are names that will never be pronounced the same. like Syed for example.. a very common name and goras pronounce is as SAEED because they cannot emphasise on the “Y” like we do..
and has anyone come across us DESIS not being able to pronounce “W” and “V” ? yes they sound very very close, but Goras easily pick up..
Like once.. I asked for VEGGIES.. but the cook thought of WEDGIES..! lol.. and I mean Potatoe wedges..! not the other wedgies..!
