Do you serve after dinner mints?

Smoking is bad for you (not to mention smelly!).

Re: Do you serve after dinner mints?

so would you serve after dinner mints and coffee after dessert and tea?

Re: Do you serve after dinner mints?

After dessert (but not dessert AND tea). If you were to serve tea, you would serve it with the coffee and mints, not with dessert. (Well, I would, anyway).

If I didn't have any mints I sometimes like to serve coffee with the dessert.

Alternatives for after dinner mints, people? Some have baklawa, some have turkish delight, some have that saunf / supari / pan masala stuff! (I won't tell you my views on the last option, it's likely to spark controversy).

Re: Do you serve after dinner mints?

i love after eights, i could seriously eat a whole packet! we have never served them though and i can't remember ever being given them after dinner at someone's house. mum usually serves baklawa or sweet pastries after dinner to guests.

Re: Do you serve after dinner mints?

Amongst our family and friends tea is the drink of choice after dinner. Nobody seems to like coffee that much!

It's usually served after dessert (if dessert is a 'wet dish' e.g rasmalai) or with dessert (if its a 'dry dish' e.g. sweet rice) along with some thorntons or ferreros chocolates, mithai or baklava and biscuits, usually mcvities or foxs tinned varieties!

Try them after dinner with coffee or green tea (or even normal tea, perhaps?) It can be any mint choc u like, makes a refreshing end to the dinner.

I got some now, particularly good when they are cold, just had 2 in a row, u want some?

Try the mints!
