Of something which needs assembly ? or some gadget you bought and do now know how to use it.
Or you just use your own mind to figure things out ?

Not untill I have to.

For a gadget I read it to look for the features, never to put it together or wired it (like my home theater system or something).

For furniture, I hardly look at the manual. The pic on the box and all the pieces laid out on the floor is enough to get an idea.

Sarcasm aside, IKEA do give you few extra hardware when you buy a piece of furniture.

No I don't read the manual. I just assemble the pieces where they fit, anything that doesn't I'll probably force it until breaking point and then grab the manual.

You just gotta wing it.

I had this drilled into me....R.T.F.M. Read. The. Friggin. Manual.

Its never failed. Whether I was working on building a trading floor or a kids toy at xmas. Should be added to the official list of golden rules.

I usually skim through it , without understanding anything . :D

Most of the time I come back and read it again .

When assembling anything, yes I do read and follow the instructions, and yet I still have some pieces left over :smack:

But to use gadgets, I’m a trial and error kinda girl - I figure eventually I’ll get it right.
