Re: Do you read on an airplane?

Best i do not waste my time reading books...whilst on the plane.

Re: Do you read on an airplane?

^are u saying reading in itself is a waste of time or just tht reading in a plane is a waste of time?

what'd u do then?:@:
looking outside is another i do:@:

@Shak09: I’m half Indian, if you look at my parent’s original nationality.

My maternal grandparents migrated to Pakistan before my mum was born and my dad moved to Pakistan when he was a teen. But my dad still has family in India and since I had never been, we traveled together and I went all over India. I must say - it was amazing! I’ve been to Pakistan several times - but I never get to do the touristy thing in Pakistan because of the safety conditions.

Traveling to India, I got to see so much of the South Asian subcontinent’s history. Lucknow was great, as was Hyderbad. And I have no words to describe how amazing Rajasthan and Kerala’s backwaters were!

When I get asked about my background, I usually identify myself as Pakistani, but originally from India. Do you have a problem with my background :ASA:

Self-help books :phati:

:lifey:

I usually read,

“get over fear of flying”
“how to survive plane crash”

Re: Do you read on an airplane?

I am a wierdo because I have made friends on plane mainly because I can just not keep my mouth shut for 8-9 hours :(

Re: Do you read on an airplane?

I love reading :hehe:

But i hate reading on the plane… Most PIA flights are overcrowded by noisy annoying passengers.

I stay the whole journey like some silent Bob, keeping myself to myself and not letting myself sleep.

I pass the time by watching the view out the window or if theres a hostess who remmbers me from my last visit i try and strike up a conversation.

Funny how in my last four journeys since 06 there was this lovely Air Hostess who remembered me very well… each time i boarded a return flight from Pakistan she was on it :omg:

Small world eh?

Wonder if i’ll ever see her again… :whistling:

Hope so.

i knw rytt me neither... i need to speak lol dATS WEIRD :s

Re: Do you read on an airplane?

I read Sky Mall magazine.

Do you know that solar powered foot massager on page 102 is only $69.95 if you use your sky-Mile club card?

Re: Do you read on an airplane?

I can't read on planes or cars/buses. It makes me feel travel sick, which is a shame cos I love reading.
