Hello friends
Most of the times we hear lectures and advices from almost everyone. The moment you say you want to do something, you’ll get hundreds of advices about how to do it and what should you be doing. And sometimes people don’t even wait for you to say anything…they are more than willing to tell you how to live your life by their precious ways.
Sometimes it bugs me when I hear those lectures and the person telling me haven’t even done a single good thing for anyone. Grrr…ok enough of my blabbering…we’ll go straight to the question, Do you practice what you preach? Or just say it like all others who think i know what’s best for every person living on this planet.
And also tell me how does it feel when someone tells you to do something he/she have never done on his own
Alot of people just talk talk and talk some more. Without really thinking they criticize, judge and say wat they think is right and I hate that.Thats why I usually keep my personal stuff private and just dont share it with anyone because of this reoson. I dont want people confusing me even more wit their thoughtlessness. They dont understand that if someone has a problem or need some guidance, its a very sensitive issue and we have to b very thoughtful and careful in wat advice we give to help that person. After all, the point is to help somone right? And as for giving advice, I usually give the advice that I myself believe I would do, but I never push my thoughts on anyone. In the end, it is their decision and they know better than me what is in their heart and how they feel.
Re: Do you practice what you preach
mostly wat i advice is wat i hav myself did or didn't do but later regret or think i'll do if in such a situation.
Re: Do you practice what you preach
Yeah, sometimes I feel like my life experiences are not sufficient to give other people worthy advice. Some things appear more obvious than others but I don't know - I definitely try to practice what I preach. But no guarantees. I've proven myself to be very unreasonable at times.
Re: Do you practice what you preach
Hypocrisy is a part of human nature. We're all hypocrites........some people are more so than others. And often times our hypocrisy is NOT intentional or deliberate. We just simply forget to practice what we preach. We might teach our children never to lie........but then we may not be aware that we ourselves are lying when we make polite excuses to get out of a situation. We might advise others to be patient, calm, and flexible.........but we all have our bad days when we lose our cool and hurl angry words at loved ones which we later regret. We might preach about not being shallow........and not be aware that we're gossiping about what someone is wearing.
The **most important thing **is that our conscience be in working order and that we have the ability to realize when we're going astray.......and make the effort to improve ourselves.
Do I practice what I preach? Sometimes I do......sometimes I forget....sometimes I choose to be unreasonable. But overall....I try to do what's good....and when I fail....I try to learn from my mistakes.
Re: Do you practice what you preach
Yea i do. I practice and then avoid every thing else so that i wont drift from the path.
