just wondering how many of you ladies pay attention to/care about the following when selecting cosmetics and other beauty products like moisturizers, cleansers, etc:

1. where it was made (for example- if you only prefer cosmetics made in the US, Canada, Europe as opposed to China, Taiwan, etc)

2. if the company does animal testing

3. if the item contains animal products

4. if the products are paraben, sulfate, phthalate free- or name any other ingredient you don’t want in your cosmetics if you look for this

1. I don’t care. Regardless of where it’s made, I still do my own research on the products reputation. But I will add that all my make-up/skin care is from brands that’re well established in the U.S. and I’ve never purchased MU/Skin care items from small ethnic stores or over seas.

4. I only use sulfate-free shampoo. And I try to buy skin items that do not contain silicones since my skin is acne prone. I don’t buy foundations/powders that have SPF.
