Re: do you PARENT :> your

lolz yes I parent them a lot. I teach them how to cook, clean, do hw and I even scold them if they are too annoying. They are a bit scared of me when I am mad I think haha :P but being the second oldest (although oldest daughter) I've always had a great responsiblity on my shoulders. In very important matters of course I dont have much to say, it is basically my parents who have the last word there. But in small issues concerning school, college or friends my younger siblings normally always ask me for advice. Especially my younger brother (21) and sister (16) are very close to me and always share their "secrets" and personal issues with me rather than my parents :)

Re: do you PARENT :> your

Yes! because I wanted to make sure that they don't repeat the mistakes I made while going through the same phase of life.

Re: do you PARENT :> your

al hamd el Allah, it is true that at times younger siblings are a great responsibility to love and care for.
the biggest reward is that they are comfortable in coming to us first in times of need and understanding & we are able to give them advice and tend to them kindly.

Re: do you PARENT :> your

I try to but they don't listen to me at times. I have to keep an eye on both of my bros. If they decide to come home late, they'll tell me about it. If I explain sthg. to the older one he doesn't usually listen. However, the younger one MashAllah tends to listen to me :)

Do they confide in me? Sometimes depending on the content of the subject

yup
