Any guppy or guppan owns a business website ? Run a business on ebay ? Any affiliate website ? Any site making money through google ads ?
If yes for how long ?

I just place my ad's in relevant venues or websites. I don't do much of anything else online, though I do place my business cards throughout the town in the appropriate stores.

My site is for henna and makeup.

I have experience, doing this since 2005 but my first site was in 1999 :D it was about dragon ball z LOL

I've too placed my website details in relevant forums/websites, and have distributed my business cards in the appropriate areas. I'm a Beautician based in Birmingham and my website shows a gallery of hair/makeovers... i am now thinking of placing an Ad in Magazines for further coverage..

I carry wide variety of ready-made dresses!

I have created a horoscope website and hope to make money off of affiliate programs and google ads.
Need some suggesstions to promote it.

i have ran some arcade, humor blog, car forum...whatever i could paste my google ad code on :D

horoscope website? there are thousands of them out there, what is so special about yours? what will make people flock to ur site? you can try google ads but they won't get you much unless you have good amount of traffic.

II've given up on google adwords recently (too expensive for my niche). Instead i'm using msn's adcenter and while it has no where as many searches....it's good enough with cheaper clicks.

^did you try Yahoo? it's a good starting point, google is just too advanced. Also try smaller search engines like looksmart.

^ I run a halal poultry cutting plant and have advertised supply of halal poultry meat to wholesalers in UK through Google. The ads brought in two big contracts to the company worth around £10,000/week. We still get a lot of enquiries through google ads and for us it has really paid off.

I have a site but my main business is local (Car Dealership) - so don’t really need to promote Int / Nationally.
