So i was thinking…

when the girls dress all nice n hot n whatnot…

how much do you enjoy the attention from the opposite sex…

is it a myth? and the dressing up is only for other females??

If a lady is dressed up in a provocative manner, she is dressed up to get attention and attention she will get

I think when girls get all dolled up and claim they don't do it for the opposite sex, deep in their heart of hearts they actually feel pleased at getting attention and the looks from the opposite sex.

All women like attention. Single ones unless they are lesbian do not get dolled up to attract women. They do it to attract men. Once they are married, it is the female thing. But it is definitely to get men.

Girls buy expensive purses and shoes and amazing things to look nice for each other. Pleasing the opposite sex is not that hard...men dont look at our bags or the brand we're wearing.

But I do not know many women who do not get a little happy when they get attention from the boys. :)

Women actually compete with other women. Why would a man care about what brand of shoes she's wearing?

I like compliments (who doesn't) but not unwanted attention. It's creepy whether coming from men or women.

A woman dresses up to feel better about herself - when she looks good she feels good and is more confident about herself. In terms of who she wants to look good for - well everyone - I want both guys and girls to think that I am presenting myself well (not provocatively - that's just skanky), but well put together. In a way, not worrying about looking bad is one less worry when socializing.

In terms of wearing branded attire (which the OP did not ask), definitely women do that for other women - guy's haven't a clue what the difference between Prada and Hermes or Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choos is.

Women love compliments, compliments come with attention. Attention comes with ......well their are couple of things. .. figure, hair, heels ..and .. .other stuff !
